We had limited time, so we started at the upper lot and did about 6 miles. For a longer ride start at the far end of town, and ride all the way up. The lower trailhead is on 5th, straight up the street from Safeway.
May 16, Sage Hills - Upper - Wenatchee
Headed to Lake Chelan for a couple of days. Stopped in Wenatchee for a quick ride. Parked at the Horse Lake Ridge trailhead. Last summer we had noticed the start of a new trail that climbs up higher towards the treeline. Thankfully the trail was finsished. Flowers were in full bloom, with Lupine and the Yellow Balsam root adding color to the beautiful scenery.
